Helping Our Kids Succeed!

         As a mother, I know from first-hand experience 
of the challenges and joys that accompany parenting today. 
It is my hope that for those families who need a little corner of wisdom, encouragement, practical tips or fellowship -- 
that one or all of the above can be found in this brand 
new column. 

        If there's one thing that I hear from parents far and near it's this: there never seems to be enough time to do all the things required in meeting the demands of the parent-child bond. Yet, parenthood seems to also be the one place where we refuse to cut corners. We are determined to raise great kids. Raising great kids require getting good information. 
It is my hope that this feature will provide a brief resource for busy, stressed, and often stretched parents who seek good parenting information.

          I bring to this column a breath of personal experience, and a passion for families! You may recognize me from my broadcast work with the program, KidTalk. KidTalk
airs on Radio Disney, 1310-am, KMKY, every Sunday at 6pm. I also will bring deep and useful insights, as I am currently a Marriage, Family Therapist (MFT) Trainee. Finally, I work with children and their families in the local community. I see, and hopefully help families each and every day in my day-to-day work.
